My name is Kristine Dillon and I am a 5th-year architecture student at the University of Miami. During my early education, I was exposed to art in all forms. I took art classes, danced and learned to play the flute at an expert level. I also enjoyed taking math and science classes and proceeded to push my brain in learning more at any chance. The challenge of incorporating all three of these fields of study in one field is what drew my love for Architecture.

I am quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, as well as inventing creative solutions to problems. Under pressure, I maintain a positive attitude and perform the task given to me effectively. A few of the architects who inspire me are Frank Lloyd Wright, Jørn Utzon, Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. To continue my creative interest I am receiving a Minor in Marketing. In addition to school, I am a piccolo player with the Frost Band of the Hour, a student ambassador of People to People, a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and an alumni member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority. I run a personal blog where I post topics such as travel, life and food.
